Frequently Asked Questions relating to the club Presentation Night- 1/9/23

1. Do I need to show my ticket on arrival?
Yes, please have your tickets (printed or on mobile) ready to be scanned at the door of the Premiers Room at Windy Hill Venue.

2. What is the dress code?
Neat Casual (we are in a licenced venue)
Children can wear anything comfortable (ENC uniform NOT required)

3. Where should I park?
Please allow time to find a car park in neighbouring streets such as Napier or Brewster Streets. There is disabled parking at the main entrance driveway.

4. What time does it start?
Please see run sheet:

5:45pm NetSetGO, U9s and U11s families to arrive (other age groups are not required at this time)
6pm Welcome address by the President
6:10pm NetSetGO, Under 9s and Under 11s Presentations

7pm Kids Disco kicks off (Any 13s/15s/17s wishing to enjoy the disco can arrive now)
8pm Kids Disco finishes (NetSetGO, 9s, 11s families can now go home)

8pm All 13s/15s/17s families to arrive by now if they haven’t attended the disco
8:05pm Welcome address by President
8:10pm Club Awards: Trailblazer, Rohan McIntosh, Club Person Award
8:30pm Under 13, Under 15s, Under 17s Presentations

9:30pm Dancefloor opens for 13s/15s/17s players & families- DJ Brianna supplying her Spotify playlist for the night!

11pm Presentation night concludes

5. What food is being served?
We have worked closely with Windy Hill Venue to select delicious menu options. There will be substantial finger food being served consistently throughout the night as we have staggered start times for the younger players and then the teenage players. Children under 12 will have ‘kid food style platters’ separate from aged 12+ food choices. Please make yourself known to the waiters if you have supplied us with your dietary requirements on your tickets.

6. Can I drop my child off to attend alone with their teammates?
No, all children must be accompanied by an adult as it is a licensed venue.

7. Will the presentation night wait for us if we are running late?
The night is running on a strict schedule, please allow time for Friday night traffic, getting a car park, signing into the venue and then scanning your Trybooking ticket at Premiers Room door. We are unable to halt the presentations if you are running late.

8. I forgot to purchase a ticket, can I please buy some?
We are at absolute full capacity, there are no more tickets available.

9. What entertainment will there be from 7-8pm?
DJ Sam from https://www.kidsdiscos.com.au/ will be
playing all the latest hits from 7-8pm for kids (and parents!!) to enjoy. DJ Sam is the official DJ for the Melbourne Vixens pregame activations, he knows how to entertain Netballers!!

10. Is level 1 accessible by lifts?
The Premiers Room is on level 1- this can be accessed via a lift or the stairs. There are accessible bathrooms on the ground level.

11. What can we drink at Windy Hill?
There is an extensive drinks menu available at the bar in the Premiers Room- drinks are at bar prices.

12. Is there space to escape the Taylor Swift songs blaring from the speakers during the disco?
The Premiers Room has a large balcony overlooking Windy Hill oval with city views, this will be a great escape for fresh air!
