Our award winning NetSetGo ‘NET’ Training Program is back for Spring 2025 after a successful program throughout Autumn/Winter. We follow the new curriculum developed by Netball Australia and train at the same time as our club SET & GO teams for an inclusive and fun experience with over 90 Netballers. 

When?
NET training starts Wednesday 13 August 2025. Runs for 12 sessions
(nil sessions on school holidays)

Time?
4:15pm – 5:15pm

Where?
Aberfeldie Primary School, enter courts from Ramsay Street Aberfeldie

Ages:
Players must have turned 5 years old to be eligible for Netball Victoria Insurance.

⭐️Grade 1/Grade 2 GROUP

Coaches:
Our coaches have all completed NetSetGo coaching courses and hold a valid WWCC if over the age of 18. Our senior players enjoy assisting with the program to give back to grassroots Netball where they began playing many years ago.

Why Essendon?
We believe in creating a fun environment where Netball is social, a chance to meet new friends all whilst learning new skills and growing in confidence. All players receive a trophy at the end of the season at our club presentation event. We won the NetSetGo Centre of the Year in 2023 for our efforts in building such an inclusive and fun program. 
Our NET program is the perfect stepping stone to build foundation skills to ensure players are ready to join a SET or GO team in 2026. 

Fees:
Returning participants for 2025 season $96
New participants $96 + $99 Netball Vic membership, this includes a t-shirt, netball and insurance.
