Welcome to the 2025 Spring Season at Essendon Netball Club!

An extra warm welcome to new families embarking on their first season at ENC.

We trust everyone is enjoying the school holiday break and some down time from all the extra-curricular activities.

Our Committee is working hard behind the scenes setting up our biggest club campaign in its 31 year history. To give you an idea of the Netball week for our club:

Mondays: 6 x A grade OPENS teams @ Parkville

Tuesdays: 1 × 17&U team @ Parkville

Wednesdays: 28 x junior teams train @ Aberfeldie Primary School

Thursdays: 2 x B grade OPENS teams @ Parkville, 1 × 15&U team @ Parkville, 3 × 13&U teams @ EDNA Riverside

Saturdays @ Parkville: 2 x SET teams, 2 x GO teams, 3 × 11&U teams

Saturdays @ EDNA Riverside: 2 x SET teams, 5 x GO teams, 7 × 11&U teams, 6 × 13&U teams and 5 × 15&U teams 

🏐Age group co-ordinators will spend the next few days setting up new WhatsApp team chats for the Spring Season and introducing coaches, assistants, TMs and players. Whilst we try to maintain some consistency with teams between Winter and Spring seasons, changes are necessary to accommodate new players to the club and to also ensure balance in skill and social suitability. We encourage all families to use this opportunity to introduce yourselves and add the important season dates to your family calendars.

🏐Parkville fixtures will begin rolling out in the coming days, but we may be waiting another week or so for Riverside fixtures- we will keep teams informed in their chats once they are released. Thank-you for your patience here.

🏐Please note that team grading is outside of the clubs control and is performed by Parkville and EDNA staff, the first three rounds are used as ‘grading’ rounds and will hopefully help adjust any changes that may be required for a fair competition.


🏐As we have always promoted, our Committee members are always available for a chat, whether it be feedback or any of your concerns. We kindly ask in return that you understand that we also have full time jobs and families of our own, and will always endeavour to get back to you within 48 hours at the most.
