WELCOME TO THE 2026 AUTUMN/WINTER NETBALL SEASON!

We are so excited to welcome all returning families and our NEW families to the first training session for the year on Wednesday 28th January.

Important Updates

🚗 There is significant road works happening on Ramsay Street at the moment which is impacting all the angle parking next to the courts. Please allow time to arrive as we expect traffic to be congested in nearby streets. There is very limited car parking available. Consider alternative parking on Doone Street, in the Aberfeldie Sports Club area, Fawkner Street, Clifton Street, carpooling or walk from home (if possible). We are awaiting guidance from the school and MVCC on completion time lines as we only found out today when visiting the equipment container.

👕The new club-issued TRAINING TOPS will be available for collection from 3:50pm to 6:30pm for all players, coaches and team managers. We ask that you arrive early to try on/select your size BEFORE your training session. Your name will be ticked off once a top is collected. Our generous sponsors contributions means this top is of no charge. We strongly suggest you label the top before your first game, any replacement tops will need to be purchased from the uniform store. The top is worn for 2026 AND 2027 seasons at training and for game day warm up, so please size accordingly.

📣At least one parent or carer of each player is asked to attend a compulsory team meeting in the last 15 minutes of your training time-slot on court. This allows all families to meet the coach and team manager (and other families!), understand team/player/and parent expectations, ensure WhatsApp and Netball Connect is functioning on your phones for comms/scoring and to ask questions. A cohesive and organised team sets the group up for success from Round 1 ☑️

⏰In summary, arrive early to allow time to find a carpark, arrive early to collect a new training top and arrive early to be ready for training to kick off on time!
