Our new design training tops have run slightly bigger in size & cut- this meant that many players 'sized down' and we unexpectedly ran out of K10, K12, K14 and are now left with a huge amount of larger sizes.
We apologise if you did not get your correct size tonight. If you took a size FAR TOO BIG - (remember it does need to last you for two years!) and would prefer a smaller size- please email: vicepresident@essendonnetballclub.com.au
with players name and preferred size.
Please return the one you have taken next week at training.
We will be placing an urgent order in sold out sizes to ensure every player gets one.
Please be patient with us- in the mean time, please continue to wear last year's top.
Every player from every age group from NetSetGO to OPENS will have a new training top in a comfortable size ☑️ ☑️
Thankyou for your understanding!
And a big thank you to the parents that volunteered under the marquee, handing out 320 tops tonight!!

P.s for those that may have missed the explanation of the design in tonights huddles, learn more about it here:
The Essendon Netball Club 2026 First Nations training top has been designed by Miah Pearce, a proud Wiradjuri woman living on Wurundjeri Country in the eastern suburbs of Naarm.FROM THE ARTIST:"This design centres on the Maribyrnong River, paying tribute to both the landscape where the club plays and the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people. The river, depicted as a flowing line of connected waterholes, symbolises connection, continuity and the shared spaces that bring people together. The varied symbol sizes for people represent the club’s diversity; players of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels all united through a common passion for netball. The surrounding meeting places extend this sense of connection beyond the field, acknowledging the broader community of coaches, parents, umpires, and supporters who all contribute to the club’s spirit. Kangaroo tracks move across the design, signifying growth, resilience, and forward movement, reflecting both the personal development of players and the ongoing journey of the club as it continues to evolve and expand".
