U15, U17 & YOUNG OPENS- CLUB CONNECTION NIGHT - 27 May 2026

Thanks to generous funding from Netball Victoria and Worksafe- we are looking forward to all our U15, U17 and Young Opens players coming together for this special event run by SALT (Sport and Life Training): "Team First Leadership" - lead from within; character, courage and connection

📅Wednesday 27 May 2026

⏰6:30pm (sharp) to 8:00pm

📍Aberfeldie Community Bowls Club- enter from football club side of car park, or the gates from the primary school into Bowls will also be open

📣ALL players from Panthers, Hawkers, Flyers, Mustangs, Meteors, Raptors, Eagles, Liberators, Phoenix, Kingfishers and Falcons are expected to attend

🏐Some teams may still be required to train at an alternative time due to upcoming finals- your team coach will confirm if this is the case for your team

🎙️Georgia Rajic, past Essendon Netballer, and now Netball Commentator will open the night, discussing the impact of local Netball on her life and where her career has now taken her (https://www.georgiarajic.com/)

🎙️Jacina Ganino from SALT, will cover key themes around understanding your personal values, leadership in sport, accountability, leading by example, empowering others and knowing when to step up

📱Some of the session is interactive with a quiz and the use of mobile phones for this is allowed

🍕Pizza and soft drinks will be supplied- please notify your Team Manager asap if you have any dietary requirements

📣Parents are welcome to attend if they wish- otherwise pick up location is ONLY from the bowls club car park on Batman Street (the school side will be shut by then)
